Only vegetable oils and butters are used. Palm oil is rich in vitamin E, beta carotene and vitamin A. Wheat germ oil is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants, and when combined with castor bean oil, acts as a humectant (a humectant attracts moisture and enables the skin to absorb water), therefore the skin is able to absorb the water soluble vitamins as well as the silk amino acids and protein. Pure crushed silk web fibers are added because silk contains 18 amino acids. Recent studies show that sericine, an amino acid contained in large quantities in silk, inhibits the effect of enzymes responsible for skin blemishes and wrinkles. A blend of olive oil, mango butter, cocoa butter and shea butter condition, lubricate, moisturize and protect the skin.

Only blends of pure aromatherapy-grade essential oils are used for the scents. While synthetic fragrances can smell nice, they do nothing other than provide scent. Essential oils not only provide a delightful smell, but they are also antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, stimulate regeneration of the skin cells, regulate the oil production and provide a soothing and relaxing atmosphere.
